Uyir movie revolves around the lively youthSundar (Srikanth) who has returned from Australia after finishing his graduation in Engineering. He comes to live with his passionate brother, his lovely wife and their cute little daughter in their home at Ooty. Sundar’s brother’s wife Arundathi (Sangeetha) who has a deep longing for Sundar. Sundar is in love with Anandhi (Samvritha Sunil) who is a pretty girl he meets in his niece’s School. Sundar’s brother commits suicide suddenly and the responsibility falls on Sundar to take care of Arundathi and her daughter. Arundathi keeps Anandi at bay by doing everything possible from her side. She tries her best to break Sundar’s relationship with Anandi while subtly hinting to Sundar about her love for him. Anandi warns Sundar about his conniving Sister-in-Law but nothing comes out of it.she made them to break up.
