Pizza II Villa is an tamil horror movie, written and directed by debutant Deepan Chakravarthy. The Movie stars with Ashok Selvan and Sanchita Shetty in lead roles. The music by Santhosh Narayanan who had earlier composed the songs for Pizza. Cinematography by Deepak Kumar Padhy and Leo John Paul did editing for this movie.Produced jointly by Thirukumaran Entertainment and Studio Green. After Pizza became successful, young software professional and short filmmaker Deepan Chakravarthy came up with the idea of making a Horror movie like Pizza. He wrote the script in three weeks and submitted it to the producer, who thought of building it up as a franchise. Thirukumaran Entertainment who produced Pizza produce the sequel too. In March 2013, Studio Green bagged the film and co-produced it. Story Pizza II : Villa is not a sequel to Pizza. The entire stroy is different from Pizza. Jebin(Ashok Selvan) is a wannabe novel writer and the film starts with the funeral of his father(Nassar) who was a wealthy business man and also an excellent painting artist. Jebin lost his entire father’s wealth in business except a Villa which at Pondichery. Jebin’s father didn’t divulge the information about the Villa to his son until his death and he never want his son to know about the Villa.When Aarthi(Sanchita Shetty) ,Jebin’s lover who was also a painting student comes to know this news she is all happy and Jebin nods to check out the Villa. What happens next and the hidden secrets of the Villa forms the crux of the story which is left for you to see in big screen. Casting Vaibhav Reddy and Sanchita Shetty were cast as the lead pair at first. Later it was said that K.E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green, chose to remove Vaibhav and Sanchita from the cast to replace them with bigger names. But Sanchita was retained and Vaibhav only was replaced by Ashok Selvan, who were both part of the hit film Soodhu Kavvum. Deepan said that most of the actors of Pizza are part of Villa as well, but were playing different characters. Ashok Selvan plays a 30-year-old writer in the film, and Sanchitha plays a Christian girl in the film. S. J. Surya was also added to the cast, but his role was not disclosed to the public. Movie set to release on November 14th 2013 & audio launched on October 2nd 2013.
