Bakrid is a Tamil drama movie written and directed by Jagadeesan Subu of Sigai fame. The moive stars Vikranth Santhosh, Vasundhara Kashyap and a camel called Sarah in the main lead roles. Lisaa is said to be India’s first movie to portray a camel in the main prominent role. The movie is produced by M10 Productions and music for the composed by D. Imman. The official teaser of the movie was unveiled on 8 February 2019.StoryA young farmer Rathinam (Vikranth), brings the baby camel to his home. His daughter (Shruthika) names the camel as Sara, things go well until the Sara falls sick. Later he gets to know that the Sara deserves to live in a desert for its well-being. Rathinam decides to leave the camel in Rajasthan through a lorry and travels along with it. The rest of the story is all about Rathinamโ€™s hard journey from Chennai to Rajasthan.
