Description:

Veruthe Oru Bharya movieย  revolves around Sugunan (Jayaram) who is an overseer at the Electricity Board. Sugunan finds a lot of analogies between his life and the power supply.ย ย  He also has a wife named Bindu (Gopika) and a daughter who’s a ninth grader.ย  Sugunan always wanted his wife to be cooking food for him, ironing his clothes, cleaning the house, looking after all other activities related anything for a home even its more or less.Bindu doing these all and more, but there’s never a word of appreciation or a fulfilled compliment from her husband. He doesn’t even acknowledge the work that she is doing without any rest in her life. This often makes bit of quarrels between them, but like any docile and loving wife, Bindu learns to live with it. A trip to Kodaikkanal and Bindu’s mom’s Death causes her to read her husbands’ sense.But then one day she decides enough is enough and goes on a strike, sort of. The story builds up from there to an interesting climax to confirm all of us really anxiously waiting for the final touchup.
