Idukki Gold is a comedy movie directed by Aashiq Abu. Movie potrays to the life of an ATS officer, who returns to his village to find his old friends and to lead a normal life away from tensions.He gives a news paper add to find his friends who were with him from School. After a couple of days, one person arrives with the story of their old friendship who is a well nourished thief. The film revolves around the problems which that advertisement create in his life.The film marks the return of Raveendran, who was an integral part of many successful Tamil and Malayalam films of 80’s. Babu Antony, who was a minimum guarantee star of low-budget films of 90’s and Maniyanpilla Raju, who played hero roles in a few movies. All these actors are playing central roles in this film.
