The Tashkent Files is a Bollywood mystery-drama, helmed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri. The movie stars Mithun Chakraborty, Naseeruddin Shah, Shweta Basu, Pankaj Tripathi, Vinay Pathak, Mandira Bedi, Pallavi Joshi, Ankur Rathee and Prakash Belawadi in the lead roles. The Tashkent Files revolves around a young, ambitious journalist Ragini (Shweta Basu Prasad) who publishes an article about the mysterious death of India’s second Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shashtri.
